The Holiday Inn finished renovations

The Holiday Inn Peterborough Waterfront recently underwent a complete renovation of their banquet hall and meeting rooms, including new flooring, wall and window coverings, lighting and audio/visual equipment. Plus the pool area received a facelift with revamped change rooms, new fitness equipment and a conversion to salt water in the pool. $150,000 was spent ,with more changes on the way!

Liftlock IGA in East City undergoes renovation

Liftlock IGA in East City has a fresh new look. Owner Dave Armstrong, manager Joseph O'dette and the staff have just completed a total store renovation, more than doubling the size of their produce department adding organic vegetables and locally grown fruits and vegetables in season. Riverview Restaurant under new management

Nick & Helen Volchevski recently purchased the long-established Riverview Restaurant in downtown Campbellford They've been working on improvements to the menu and the decor. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, is fully licensed, and overlooks the Trent Severn Waterway. Call 705-653-4444 for more information.

Kindred Spirits on Rubidge expands

Linda Devine Kindred Spirits opened its doors in the historic Cox Terrace in April 2004, and is now expanding by taking over another unit. Kindred Spirits offers group workshops and individual sessions on meditation, dream interpretation, brain gym, colour therapy, reflexology, life coaching, and various discussion groups. The new space allows them to add a "Spa Day" where you can be pampered with a variety of mini treatments - your choice of 2 treatments for only $25. Omemee Veterinary Hospital opens new building

The Omemee Veterinary Hospital recently completed and moved into their brand new building at 128 King Street in Omemee, beside the Car Wash. Doctors Brian Noble, Cathleen Norman and Caroline deHaan offer full vet services at both the Omemee location and Champlain Animal Hospital on the Lakefield Highway.
