Welcome to The Business Beat.

Mr. Lube's new location

Lots of moves this week... Mr. Lube is moving! Owners Tom and Harley Jopling and Alan Hacking will be moving the Mr. Lube business from the present location at the corner of Lansdowne and Clonsilla to 708 Lansdowne Street at High street, which is the former Speedy Muffler building. They've been at the current location for 22 years, so it's a big change, but it's a great new location! Watch for a grand opening soon.

Back of the Closet has moved

Back of the Closet has moved, from their location in the Cox Terrace to 675 The Queensway, directly across from CAA. Selling gently used womens clothing and accessories on consignment, they now have 1400 square feet to work with, 4 change rooms, plenty of free parking. They've added more stock including consignment wedding dresses and prom and gala dresses. Find them on Facebook or stop in to Back of the Closet, now on the Queensway, or call (705) 748-3047.

The Wine Shoppe moves to larger location

Pat and Bernie Flache celebrated their fifth year in the winemaking business by moving! They're now just across the street from the old location in Bridgenorth, strategically located between the LCBO and The Beer Store... The new location is about 30% bigger with room to grow. That's The Wine Shoppe, 874 Ward Street in Bridgenorth, call (705) 292-9200.

Burnham Gardens Restaurant

Cory and Jacqueline Sharman recently opened Burnham Gardens Restaurant in the former Burnham Mansion Property on Highway 7 East at the Keene Road. Offering casual dining at its finest by Chef Brien, the business also incorporates Jacqueline's wedding and party store business. They've downsized the restaurant to a cozy 60 seats and now offer the large main room for weddings and special occasions. As well the building out front houses an amazing variety of party supplies, and rental equipment like tents and barbeques and tables and chairs. They can handle anything from the shower to the wedding to the meal, plus special events such as anniversaries. The dining room is open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner, plus Sunday brunch. They'll take group bookings for lunch. For more information call (705) 742-2666.
