Ashburnham Financial Services Moves East City is a hotbed of activity with a new commercial complex taking shape at the corner of Hunter and Mark Street. New Day Spa in East City Meanwhile at 75 Hunter Street you'll find a completely refurbished building and a brand new business, Girlie Girls Skin Care and Day Spa. Owners Kelly Steinsky and Jenny Lanciault will be opening this Thursday, offering manicures, pedicures, full body waxing and make up artistry. Ashburnham Craft Supplies Workshops Still in East City, Ashburnham Craft Supplies is expanding it's workshop lineup, expanding it's paper crafts department, introduced a weekly Scrapbooking evening, plus they are welcoming a couple of special guest artists this fall, including Joanne Purdy, an acrylics and oils artist, who will be there twice a month, and on October 15 owners Dianna and Dani will be welcoming decorative finishing experts Jim Connelly and Peter De Sousa who will be helping workshop participants create a Victorian Rose Tapestry, which utilizes a variety of art mediums. Sales and Ad Golf Tournament The Sales and Ad Golf Tournament goes tomorrow (Tuesday September 20) at the Port hope Golf Course. The Sales and Ad 60th anniversary season kicks off tomorrow night at the Trentwinds with a buffet dinner, followed by comedian Jim McNally. The Golf Tournament is $125 - the dinner is $35.
