New Planning Firm in Town

Junior Achievement builds presence

Junior Achievement has made a strong move to build their presence in the Kawarthas. John McNutt has been hired as the new coordinator. Ontario Speed Skating Oval Fundraiser

The Ontario Speed Skating Oval, to be built in Lakefield has an important fundraising dinner coming up on November 2 at the Evinrude Centre Banquet Hall. Oval Spokesperson Catriona Lemay Doan will be the guest speaker. Tickets are $125, available from the Oval office in Lakefield in Memorial Hall, 2 Queen Street, or call (705) 652-1687. The Oval will be a tremendous boost to most businesses in this area. The number of visitors it will bring to the area, shoulder and off-season visitors no less, is impressive so make sure you show your support.
