Art displays at local stores

Julie Austin's popular Chasing The Cheese store at 372 Water Street, just opened a new art display featuring Claire Hogenkamp. Claire paints Quebec Laurentian landscapes, which really compliment the many Quebec cheeses featured in the store. Check it out until January 9. Meanwhile Parkhill on Hunter recently mounted a display of Tom Blackmore's work. Tom paints on photographs. Many businesses display local art and it's nice to see.
