|Date:||Saturday, May 27 & Sunday, May 28, 2017|
|Time:||9 a.m. - 5 p.m.|
|Location:||Canadian Canoe Museum (910 Monaghan Rd., Peterborough)|
Do you have a wood-and-canvas canoe at home that needs a little love? Participants in the canoe restoration clinic will learn how to re-canvas a wood-and-canvas canoe and perform basic structural repairs (for example; replacing a rib, or repairing damaged planking) from experienced canoe builder, Pam Wedd of Bearwood Canoe Company. You will leave with the confidence, know-how and hands-on experience needed to restore your own canoe. Interested participants may bring their own canoe for a thorough analysis and diagnosis and will leave with all the experience necessary to repair, re-canvas, fill and finish their own canoe – BUT you will not be working on your own canoe during the course. This is an inspiring weekend!
