kawarthaNOW ® Photo Credits
For our summer launch and premiere months of kawarthaNOW.com ® we searched for a series of quality photos that represented a wide range of geography and feel for Summer in The Kawarthas. We found them (on Facebook!) with Woodhouse Photography. Located in Buckhorn, Ontario, Adam Woodhouse is best known for his wedding photography. As a professional wedding photographer shooting weddings throughout southern Ontario, Adam brings a unique and artistic eye to his work. This is evident by reviewing his online portfolio of both wedding photograph and his personal project, the "Kawartha Gallery". www.woodhousephotography.com Adam was raised in the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. His family moved to the Kawarthas in the late 1980's. Adam completed high school in Lakefield and then went to Trent University to graduate with a B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Studies. After university he worked for 10 years in the GTA in the fields of Information Technology and Project Management. All along, his photography was nothing more than a hobby. After 10 year in the GTA (almost to the day) he and his new young family moved to Buckhorn. At that point Adam started working for a Peterborough electronics manufacturer, again in the capacity of an Information Technology specialist. It was during this time of now living in Buckhorn and working in Peterborough that Adam decided to take his photography to the next level. Adam wanted his photography to be more meaningful and be enjoyed by others. It was a natural step for Adam to venture into the wedding photography business. After starting as part-time business, Adam realized the potential for a new career right from the get-got when an image from his third wedding was chosen to grace the cover of the highly distributed "Kawartha Life" magazine. Since then Adam has continued to grow his wedding photography business to the full time success it is today. When Adam isn't shooting weddings or in front of his computer creating beautiful images and conversation creating albums, he is working for Sir Sandford Fleming teaching both Photoshop and Photography or creating and maintaining websites for local businesses. |
