Fly away from winter without leaving town when the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra returns to the Erica Cherney Theatre for the first time since the pandemic began. "Wings of Sound" is a concert featuring Mathieu Lussier's lyrical and redemptive Odd Bird Concerto and Dvorak's lyrically romantic Serenade for Strings. Special musical guest is basoonist Nadina Mackie Jackson. Performances at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Each performance includes a "Meet the Maestro" chat with conductor Michael Newnham and Nadina Mackie Jackson. Proof of vaccination and face masks may be required.
