Heritage: Asphodel–Norwood Cultural and Heritage Committee presents Peter Robinson Bicentennial Historical Gathering beginning at 7:00 pm at Norwood Town Hall (2357 County Road 45, Norwood, K0L 2V0). A historical gathering about the Peter Robinson settlers featuring local fiddle player Jaqueline Doyle and a talk on "Leaving Ireland" by Mary English-Cooper, the author of "The Peterborough Robinson Experiment." A flag raising will be held at the Town Hall earlier in the day at 9 a.m. to honour the 32 families who settled in Ashphodel-Norwood. Cost: Free.
