Roller Derby: Peterborough Area Roller Derby (PARD) presents Season Opener Triple Header beginning at 1:00 pm at Douro Community Centre and Arena (2893 Highway 28 and County Road 4, Douro, K9J 6Y2). The first game features PARD's Charter team versus the Akron All Stars (Ohio), followed by Toronto Mixed Roller Derby versus the Cleveland Guardians Roller Derby (Ohio). The day ends with PARD's regulation team hitting the track against Guelph’s Royal City Rum Rollers. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. with games at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 6 p.m. This is an inclusive, family-friendly, licensed event. Cost: $10 in advance or $15 at the door (free for children 12 and under).
