Gardening: Peterborough GreenUP presents Ecology Park Native Plant & Tree Nursery Season Opener beginning at 10:00 am at Ecology Park (1867 Ashburnham Dr., Peterborough, K9L 1P9). Get first pick of locally propagated and grown native plants, and find veggie seedlings grown by TASS. All plant sales support Ecology Park. The Native Plant and Tree Nursery carries more than 200 species of native trees, shrubs, and perennial plants including ferns, edible plants, wildflowers, and more. If arriving by car, parking is in the south end of the Beavermead Park parking lot (no parking in Ecology Park). Cost: Free admission.
