Heritage: Trent Valley Archives (TVA) presents "The Irish Arrive" Walking Tour beginning at 2:00 pm at Del Crary Park (100 George St. N., Peterborough, K9J 3G3). Historian and archivist Dr. Elwood Jones leads a walking tour in downtown Peterborough that will paint a picture of what life was like for the 1825 Peter Robinson emigrants as they arrived in their new land. During the walk, you'll get to see the area where the 1825 depot was located as well as the Peter Robinson headquarters. This tour begins at the Pathway of Fame in Del Crary Park and is primarily on flat ground but may not be accessible for everyone. Rain or shine. Cost: $20.
