Benefit Concert: United Way Peterborough & District presents Peterborough Performs VI - Musicians United Against Homelessness beginning at 7:00 pm at Showplace Performance Centre (290 George St. N., Peterborough, K9J 3H2). In this annual benefit concert for United Way Peterborough & District agencies providing housing and shelter services, 14 local musical acts perform simultaneously on two stages with proceeds to United Way of Peterborough & District agencies providing housing and shelter services. Featured acts are The Weber Brothers Band, Sarah Jayne Riley, The Peterborough All-Star Band (featuring Rick and Gailie Young), VanCamp, Caitlin O'Connor and The Detention Club, The Hippie Chicks and Company, Dan Hick, Alyssa Morrissey and Kyler Tapscott, Lagan & Derelict (Phil Stephenson, Glen Caradus and Ron Kervin), Maggie Sabyan and Mike MacCurdy, Georgia Rose, Tom Eastland, Mark Beatty, and Jacques Graveline.
