Workshop: Township of Selwyn and GreenUP presents Transit Rider Workshops beginning at 10:00 am at Curve Lake Cultural Centre (1024 Mississauga St., Curve Lake, K0L 1R0). The Township of Selwyn in partnership with GreenUP is offering free transit rider workshops for community members interested in learning how to use public transit with confidence.These hands-on, low-pressure workshops are designed to introduce participants to the basics of riding the bus and developing a valuable life skill that supports life-long independence and mobility. Participants will learn how to plan a trip, board the bus, manage transfers, and navigate transit with ease. Sessions take place at 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The workshops support awareness and use of The Link, Selwyn Township's rural transit service, and all participants will be entered into a draw to win one free 10-ride Link bus pass.
