PolarFest is an exciting family festival, offering a weekend full of laughter, friendly competition, and the enjoyment of winter. Activities include an opening ceremony with fireworks display, Polar Paddle, Guns & Hoses charity hockey game (police vs. firefighters), 5th Annual Lakefield Chocolate Creations Festival, ice carvings, pancake breakfast, PolarFest Youth Shinny, Selwyn Public Library Makerspace tour, candlelight skate, nordic snowshoe day, scavenger hunt, Frosty 5K Run, Lakefield Trail night hike, antique and vintage snowmobile show, public skating, the BEL Rotary Polar Plunge, and more.
