In February 2024, the New Canadians Centre (NCC) launched its neighbourhood Video Series, spotlighting the stories of diverse community members. Building on its success, the NCC has developed an engaging educational activity to accompany these videos. Through this activity, participants can explore the stories of their neighbours, dive deeper into what makes a neighbourhood so unique, and reflect on the themes highlighted in the videos. This session, facilitated by members of the NCC Newcomer Leadership Group, will discuss Samantha and Bhisham's stories and the topics of the importance of representation and international students.
