On April 30, 2024, Chief Keith Knott announced Curve Lake First Nation will receive $400,000 in funding to renovate the Mary Dorothy Jacobs Memorial Park baseball diamond, with $300,000 coming from Indigenous Services Canada and $100,000 from the Jays Care Foundation "Field Of Dreams" grant program.
