Concert: Westben presents "Requiem, Rise and Shine!" beginning at 3:00 pm at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church - Warkworth (20 Mill St., Warkworth, K0K 3K0). The Westben Festival Chorus and soloists will perform classical music celebrating spring, including solos and two choral masterpieces: Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, Op. 48 and excerpts from Karl Jenkins' exuberant Symphonic Adiemus. Performances at Norwood United Church on April 12 and at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Warkworth on April 13. Cost: $23 plus tax ($5 for youth under 18).
