Fundraiser: Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) presents Doggie Dash beginning at 12:00 pm at Isabel Morris Park (20 Concession Street, Lakefield, K0L 2H0). You and your pup can make a difference. As the number of animals needing help in the community continues to rise, you can be their hero – and all you have to do is walk. You and your dog will help rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for more dogs and cats in the community. Participants can choose from two walking distances of 1.5km or 2.5km. On-site registration opens at 12 p.m. with the walk starting at 1 p.m. Enjoy a post-walk social with music and shopping (for yourself and your pet), and refuel with food from vendors.
