Fundraiser: Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre presents Hike, Bike, and Bark for Hospice beginning at 9:00 am at Victoria Park & Beach (138 Division St., Cobourg, K9A 3P3). Choose from 2k, 5k, or 10k options. Participants can register online as individuals, create a new team, or join an existing one. Every dollar raised helps the care teams at Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre provide essential services such as volunteer hospice support, in-home visiting hospice, education, grief and bereavement, counselling, and end-of-life care in their 10-suite hospice residence, all offered free of charge to the families they serve. Check-in at 9 a.m. with the hike beginning at 10 a.m. A BBQ will follow the event at noon. Cost: $30 per person (free for children 12 and under and dogs).
