Celebration: City of Peterborough presents Opening Celebration for Bonnerworth Park beginning at 2:00 pm at Bonnerworth Park (560 McDonnell St., Peterborough, K9J 8M2). The grand opening celebration for the new bike pump track, expanded skateboard park, new pickleball courts, and other enhancements will include remarks from officials and park user groups, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and an opportunity for residents to explore the park’s new features such as new landscaping throughout the park, shade areas, and a new multipurpose trail connecting all amenities. The grand opening will be followed by a lineup of activities in the park on November 8 and 9 highlighting the park's new features and giving residents an opportunity to check out demonstrations from user groups and try a new hobby or sport. Cost: Free.
