Film: Those Other Movies presents Doc(k) Day beginning at 10:00 am at Northern Lights Performing Arts Pavillion (5358 Haliburton County Road 21, Haliburton, K0M 1S0). This year's annual Doc(k) Day film festival features four Canadian documentary films: "I am the Art: Nobuo Kubota" at 10 a.m., "Claritone" at 1:30 p.m., "We Lend a Hand - The Forgotten Story of Ontario Farmerettes" at 3:30 p.m., and "The Art of Adventure" at 7:30 p.m. (following by a Q&A with director Alison Reid). Cost: $35 advance pass for all four films ($30 for Those Other Movies season pass holders), $10 per film cash at the door.
