Workshop: Together for Justice, Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton Integrated Immigrant Services Association, and New Canadians Centre present Immigrant & Newcomer Orientation Workshop Series - "Immigration Orientation & Newcomer Resources" beginning at 10:00 am at Ampere Kawartha Lakes Makerspace (12 Peel St., Lindsay, K9V 3L8). Together for Justice (T4J) is supporting the Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton Integrated Immigrant Services Association and New Canadians Centre to deliver a free Immigration & Newcomer Education Workshop Series to help immigrants, newcomers, refugees and asylum seekers, international students, and migrant workers better understand healthcare, housing, employment standards, and legal rights. Workshops on different topics will be held on March 26, April 30, May 26, September 24, October 29, and November 26. Cost: Free, but advance registration required.
