Family: Lakefield Village Lions Club presents Shamrock Skate and Shindig beginning at 11:30 am at Lakefield-Smith Community Centre and Arena (20 Concession St., Lakefield, K0L 2H0). A family fun day in support of the Lakefield Food Bank featuring a free skate from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and a shindig upstairs in the Niels Pind room from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm. Activities will include games, crafts, colouring contest, raffle table as well as food (meal deal and treats table). Bring a non-perishable food item.
