Fundraiser: Kids Against Hunger Canada presents One Million Meals Peterborough beginning at 10:30 am at Rhema Christian School (29 County Road 4, Peterborough, K0L 1B8). Since launching in 2016, this annual event has brought together over 2,653 volunteers who have packed 926,640 meals in total. These meals provide vital support to people facing hunger in the local community, across Canada, and abroad. On its 10th anniversary, organizers are aiming to reach a cumulative total of 1,000,000 meals packed. Individuals, families, teams, schools, businesses, or groups are welcome to register. There will be two packing shifts: one at 10:30 a.m. and one at 12:30 p.m. Cost: Fundraise or donate at least $75 per person.
