Film: FLATO Academy Theatre presents "Through The Back Door" (2021) beginning at 6:30 pm at FLATO Academy Theatre (2 Lindsay St. S., Lindsay, K9V 2L6). Step back in time for a special evening celebrating the magic of the Roaring Twenties with a screening of the silent comedy-drama film "Through The Back Door" (2021), starring legendary Canadian actress Mary Pickford as a young Belgian girl, raised by her longtime nanny, who flees Europe at the advent of World War I and travels to America to find her real mother. This event will feature a live pianist accompanying the film, just as it would have been presented during the silent film era. Guests will also be able to enjoy Roaring Twenties-inspired photo opportunities, and are encouraged to dress in 1920s attire. This all-ages event is designed for the whole community to enjoy.
