Exhibit: David Geene presents Economies of Scale? The Ethics and Politics of High Density Housing (art show) at Watson & Lou (383 Water St., Peterborough, K9H 3V4). An exhibit of 12 new paintings along with drawings and other work by artist David Geene inspired by the proposed 17-storey towers in East City and beside Little Lake. It considers these two towers and several other existing apartment buildings in the City of Peterborough provoking questions about location, affordability, benefit, necessity. Visitors will be able to respond creatively with what they think and feel. The exhibit begins with a reception from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. Watson & Lou is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: Free admission.
