A comedy that flips the script on the male-centric history of the Canadian fur trade and figures like Louis Riel. Set in "18 hundred and something-something," playwright Frances Koncan playfully tells us this story from the perspective of three women: an Ojibwe, a Métis, and an Irish settler, all of whom speak in 21st-century slang. A must-see staged reading. Content advisory: Strong language. Recommended audience: 14+.
