Network science has become a vibrant field that draws on mathematics, computing, biology, and the social sciences, offering fresh ways to understand the systems around us. Join Dr. Anthony Bonato in exploring these networks of dots and lines, and discover how once you see them, the world never looks the same. Dr. Bonato is a globally recognised expert in graph theory and network science and a professor at Toronto Metropoitan University. He has authored over 150 papers and eight books, including "Dots and Lines: Hidden Networks in Social Media, AI, and Nature." This lecture takes place in the Event Space (Room 1.07) at the Student Centre.
