Leadership Matters is a free lunch-hour webinar series designed to bridge the gap between leadership theory and real-world practice. Each session brings together faculty, students, and community members to explore how leadership can address today's challenges. In "Becoming a Best Boss" presented by Dr. Seth R. Silver, participants will learn about a survey of 250 people on LinkedIn and Facebook who were asked about the "best" and "worst" bosses during their careers that resulted in a "Top 10 List" of best boss attributes and a corresponding list for the worst boss attributes. The webinar will share this research, how the data was analyzed, and the implications for newer or younger managers hoping to have a positive and enduring impact on their teams and followers.
