In the 2026 Harry Kitchen Lecture in Public Policy, economist Dr. Trevor Tombe will explore why trade barriers between provinces persist, which sectors are most affected, how reforms like mutual recognition can boost productivity, and how easing internal trade barriers can strengthen Canada’s economy.
