Join archaeologist Dr. Holly Martelle as she provides a brief overview of St. John's Ward, a "first arrival neighbourhood" and home to early Black, Irish, Jewish, and Chinese communities in Toronto. Dr. Martelle will focus on how the preserved building foundations and hundreds of thousands of artifacts are helping to tell the stories of the people of St. John's Ward, including the Holmes family who later made their home in Lindsay.
