Musical Theatre: Capitol Theatre presents "A Year With Frog and Toad" beginning at 2:00 pm at Capitol Theatre Arts Centre (20 Queen St., Port Hope, L1A 2Y7). Based on Arnold Lobel's beloved books with music by Robert Reale and book and lyrics by Willie Reale, this whimsical show chronicles the story of two friends — the very chipper Frog and the rather grumpy Toad — through four fun-filled seasons. Alongside the other animals of the forest, they plant gardens, go swimming, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. It's a show for both the young and the young at heart. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, and all charm, "A Year with Frog and Toad" tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons. Directed by Fiona Sauder.
