Nature: Kawartha Land Trust presents Passport to Nature: Winter Solstice Night Hike beginning at 4:00 pm at Gamiing Nature Centre (1884 Pigeon Lake Rd., Lindsay, K9V 4R5). Enjoy and embrace darkness on the longest night of the year by welcoming the winter solstice with a night hike that begins as the sun is setting and ends in darkness with an opportunity to warm yourself by a fire. Outdoor educator Nancy Thomson and certified hike leader Barb Rimmer will lead smaller groups to explore the trails for those who are interested in walking. There is also the option to simply sit by the fire and enjoy the beauty of the night. Dress for the weather. Part of Kawartha Land Trust's 2025-26 Passport to Nature series. Cost: Free.
