Fair: Port Hope & District Agricultural Society presents Port Hope Fair at Port Hope Agricultural Park (62 McCaul St., Port Hope, L1A 4H2). Featuring agricultural shows, homecraft and children's exhibits, midway, demolition derby (Saturday afternoon), live entertainment, 4-H and livestock competitions, pony pulls (Sunday), vintage tractor and antique car show (Sunday), truck pull and tractor pull( Friday night), agricultural education and displays, canning and cooking demonstrations, and more. Fair hours are 5 - 9 p.m. Thursday (midway opens 4 p.m.), 4 - 11 p.m. Friday (midway opens 4 p.m.), 9 a.m. - 11 p.m. Saturday (midway opens at 10 a.m.), and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m Sunday (midway opens at 11 a.m.). Cost: $30 weekend pass, $10 Friday pass, $15 Saturday pass, $10 Sunday pass (free for children 12 and under). One-day midway passes $35 in advance or $45 at the fair. Admission is free on Thursday.
