Food: The Seasoned Spoon presents Community Meal and Planetary Health Discussion beginning at 5:00 pm at Seasoned Spoon (1770 Westbank Dr., Peterborough, K9L 1Z7). Every year, the Seasoned Spoon Cafe at Trent University's Champlain College offers a vegetarian feast for students, staff, and community members. Although registration is requested, the meal is pay what you can, and any amount donated will support the Seasoned Spoon's programming. Mary Hoekstra will be opening up a discussion with others on how food choices impact environmental health, with speakers coming from the Kingston area including physician Dr. Henry Swoboda and registered dietitian Avery Zenker.
