Musical Theatre: Capitol Theatre presents "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" beginning at 2:00 pm at Capitol Theatre Arts Centre (20 Queen St., Port Hope, L1A 2Y7). Based on the beloved comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, this Tony and Drama Desk award-winning musical comedy chronicles the adventures of Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang. Through hilarious scenes and toe-tapping songs, they explore life's great questions all while playing baseball, struggling with homework, swooning over crushes, and celebrating the joy of friendship. Book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner, with additional dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Directed and choreographed by Rob Kempson with music direction by Shane O'Regan. Evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on May 15 and 16, 21 to 23, and 28 to 30, with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on May 17, 23 and 24, and 30 and 31.
