Workshop: Peterborough Theatre Guild (PTG) presents Directing Techniques with Rod Carley - Part 2 at Peterborough Theatre Guild (364 Rogers St., Peterborough, K9H 1W7). How does a director begin the process before, during, and after casting? How can one lead actors to discover their strengths? How to maintain a director's vision as director/actor? What role do technical crew play in shaping a production? These questions and more will be explored in this weekend workshop. Participants will observe each other's work and participate in scenes to help both actors and directors discover their best working methods. This workshop is aimed at both directors and actors. Participants will focus on staging scenes from "The Dark Lady" script with director Rod Carley. Completion of the previous fall 2025 directing workshop is not a prerequisite, but those who attended are encouraged to deepen their study with this course. The workshop runs from 6 - 9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Cost: $70 for PTG working members, $95 for non-members.
