Workshop: Peterborough Theatre Guild presents Directing Techniques with Rod Carley at Peterborough Theatre Guild (364 Rogers St., Peterborough, K9H 1W7). In this workshop for directors and actors led by Roy Carley, you'll learn how a director begins the process before, during, and after casting, how you can lead actors to discover their strengths, how to maintain a director's vision as director/actor, and whhat role technical crew play in shaping a production. Participants will observe each other's work and participate in scenes to help both actors and directors discover their best working methods. The workshop runs from 6 - 9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Cost: $70 for Peterborough Theatre Guild working members, $95 for non-members.
