Workshop: Artspace Peterborough presents "Nemoralis Book Making Workshop" with Stuart Hill beginning at 12:30 pm at Peterborough Public Library (345 Aylmer St N, Peterborough, K9H 7E7). Prior to the 10th Anniversary Book + Zine Fest, bookbinder and artist Stuart Hill of George Hill & Co is presenting a workshop on how to make a Nemoralis, a medieval record-keeping book. The cover is of folded construction made from heavy paper and is held closed with a leather cord. The sections of the book are sewn directly to the cover with a unique free-form sewing pattern that includes a final gathering. Cost: By in-person donation ($50 suggested).
