Pets: Lakelands Public Health and the Peterborough Humane Society present Low-Cost Rabies Vaccine Clinic beginning at 11:00 am at North Kawartha Community Centre (340 McFadden Rd., Apsley, K0L 1A0). When attending the clinic, dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers or otherwise restrained. To guarantee your spot, register in advance. Cost: $40 per pet.
