Artspace presents "Babe, yr my religion" by Adrien Crossman

A solo exhibition by queer and trans artist Adrien Crossman that is an homage to the queer bar as a site of collective memory, resilience, and imagination. Presented with the support of the Ontario Arts Council and Superframe, this new body of work positions the gay bar not just as a space of nightlife, but as a sacred site of queer and trans gathering, mourning, protest, and celebration. Opening reception from 8 - 11 p.m. on September 12 featuring a special activation of a gay bar space.
