A free community education event designed to help the public better understand Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, their risk factors, and strategies to reduce those risks. The program includes a keynote presentation by Dr. JoAnne McLaurin, one of Canada's leading researchers in Alzheimer's therapeutics, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with representatives from local organizations including Kawartha Centre – Redefining Healthy Aging, Age-Friendly Peterborough, and The Alzheimer's Society. Light refreshments will be served.
