A Remembrance Day parade and service will be held at the Citizens' War Memorial in Confederation Square. The Parade departs Confederation Square, travelling south on George Street, east on Hunter Street, north on Water Street, and west on McDonnel Street, where it returns to the Citizens' War Memorial. The service begins at 10:30 a.m. with performances, remarks by dignitaries, and the placing of the wreaths, followed at 11 a.m. with the Last Post, two minutes of silence, performances, and speakers. To take part in the parade, arrive at Confederation Square by 9:30 a.m. to sign a waiver. To purchase a wreath, call the Legion at 705-745-6361. Rolling road closures will be in place along the parade route from 10 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
