For the past 36 years, the Kawartha Haliburton Children's Foundation Santa's Sleigh Program has helped make the holidays brighter for local children and youth who are involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society. The Sleigh will open at Walmart on Chemong Road on November 27 and remain available until December 8. Community members are invited to choose a child's gift suggestion from the tree at Walmart and drop the gift off at the Sleigh. All gifts donated go directly to children in the community who are involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society.
