"The Last Real Summer" is a memory play where Elizabeth Wharton, a recently widowed doctor, takes us on a reflective journey back to her youth in rural Alberta, as it was during the early years of World War II. As she recounts her story, and we meet the teenage Lizzie and her parents, Elizabeth's thoughts often linger on Lizzie's encounters and relationship with young Doug Cameron. Directed by Brenda Worsnop. Evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on May 23, 28 to 30, and June 4 to 6 with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on May 24 and 31 and June 7.
