When an estranged family gathers to mourn the passing of family matriarch Mavis, the funeral erupts into a more dysfunctional family reunion than any of them could have imagined. If everyone can keep it together, they might just break the intergenerational curse and make it out alive. This new Canadian comedy turns grief into a hilarious journey, bursting with eccentric characters, witty banter, and hidden identities that will make you laugh at life, death, and family. Written by Kingston native Sophia Fabiilli and directed by Aaron Jan. Evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on June 12 and 13, 18 to 20, and 25 to 27, with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on June 14, 16 to 18, 20 and 21, 23 to 25, and 27 and 28. Pay-what-you-can preview on June 12, Indigenous community night on June 19, relaxed performance on June 21, and talkback after every Thursday performance.
