Based on Farley Mowat's acclaimed war memoir "And No Birds," this world premiere adaptation by Dave Carley tells Mowat's autobiographical account of his military service during World War II as a member of the Hastings Prince Edward Regiment. Mowat transforms from a young man into a combat veteran, alongside the devastating losses that come with wartime. Developed in the Capitol Theatre's 2024 Creators' Unit and directed by Rob Kempson. Evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on August 14 and 15, 20 to 22, 27 to 29, and September 3 to 5, with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on August 16, 18 to 20, 22 and 23, 25 to 27, 29 and 30, and September 1 to 3 and 5 and 6.
