Filmed at the Wing Fong Farm in Ontario, this documentary follows the planting, tending, and harvesting of Asian vegetables grown in an Ontario farm for Chinese markets and restaurants, and tells the story of farmer Lau King-Fai, his family, and the migrant Mexican workers who help run the farm. Through their lives, the documentary explores food, migration, cultural identity, and the connections between land and livelihood.
