A self-guided, interactive exhibit developed by Fleming College's Museum Management and Curatorship students, "Less Work, More Play" transforms the Ayotte Cabin into a lively, interactive space where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the lifestyle of 19th-century settlers. The opening reception will be held at the Peterborough County Agricultural Heritage Building, where there will be a welcoming address by a student emcee with speeches from students, faculty, and friends of the program beginning at 2:15 p.m.. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with hands-on activities developed for the exhibit, and light refreshments will be served. The exhibit will be available after Lang Pioneer Village Museum opens for the season.
